Privacy notice

DramaFate provides illustrated stories with choices. This notice describes the current website, including optional ChatGPT sign-in.

Reading progress and preferences

Choices, reading positions, manual saves, saved-story bookmarks, and reader settings are stored in your browser. These are separate for each browser and website address. Signing in does not currently sync reading progress between devices or between the old website address and dramafate.com. Clearing site data can remove these saves.

Optional sign-in

You can read free chapters without signing in. When you sign in with ChatGPT, the hosting service makes your account identifier, email, and available name information accessible to the website. DramaFate uses this information to identify your account and display your library. The account database stores reader identifiers, creation timestamps, and chapter or membership access records. DramaFate does not receive your ChatGPT password.

Hosting and external services

The website runs through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. These services process requests and may use cookies and technical data, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver the site, maintain sign-in, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the requests needed to deliver those fonts. Those providers' own policies also apply.

Visitor analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics on public pages to understand page views, visits, and loading performance. This analytics service does not use cookies or local storage to track visitors. It receives page and referrer information, browser/device information, and performance measurements. We do not add account details, saved dialogue, or story choices to analytics events. Payments

Checkout is disabled at present. Planned prices are informational; this website does not currently take payments.

Your choices and requests

You may sign out, remove saved-story bookmarks, and clear DramaFate site data in your browser. Clearing site data removes local progress and does not delete account records held on the server. To ask about access, correction, or deletion of account information, contact legal@dramafate.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on an account request.

Retention and updates

Local saves remain until removed or cleared by you or your browser. The current account database does not automatically expire reader and access records. You can request deletion at legal@dramafate.com. We may need to keep records necessary to resolve an access dispute, meet a legal obligation, or protect the service, and will explain any limitation when responding to your request. Updates to this notice will show a revised date.

Messages you send us

If you contact us, we receive the email address and information you include. We use that correspondence to respond to your request and keep a record of the issue. Please share only what is needed to help.
